Training and education beamtime

The possibility to apply for training and education beamtime at MAX IV has been integrated into the MAX IV DUO system.

This mode of beamtime brings the opportunity to use MAX IV for training purposes in the context of university courses, training workshop or other educative activity that could benefit from real hands-on beamtime at MAX IV.

If you would like to apply for training and education beamtime, please complete, upload and submit your proposal through the DUO system.
Download the training and education beamtime proposal form here.

  • Call open: 22 March 2021
  • Call close: 12 April 2021
  • Beamtime cycle: August 2021 until June 2022 (upon agreement with the corresponding beamline).

Please find more details and tips on how to proceed are here. Feel free to contact Ana Labrador by email or phone +46 766 32 33 28, if you are interested or have further questions on such user and beamline cooperative experience.

We warmly invite you to attend a new series of scientific seminars, named SCIENTÍFika, organised by the User Office.
