METIS PROJECT IS aiming to support the growth strategy of the European microelectronics sector by redefining occupational profiles and tackling skills gaps.
IN THAT FRAMEWORK the consortium is developing diverse Focus Group from which WiTEC SWEDEN is in charge of the thematic “Diversity in electronics, the place of women and other underrepresented groups in the micro-electronics industry” and to develop a new perspective in the field that points to the future your experience and knowledge is invaluable.
THE FOCUS GROUPS WILL:
• Analyse the trends affecting skills development in the sector,
• Pinpoint skill mismatches between current workforce skills and the industry needs and
• Provide foresight scenarios for the future of the sector.
THE OUTCOMES WILL feed into the Microelectronics Skills Strategy, a comprehensive report that will be published in the beginning of 2021 and will provide updated microelectronics skills intelligence and policy recommendations for Europe.
WE ARE ORGANIZING two Focus Groups. You can participate either on the 22nd of May at 10:30 a.m. (CET), or on the 10th of June at 13:30 p.m. (CET).
IT WILL BE an approximately 90 minutes discussion on this topic and your perspectives regarding this specific problematic. The meeting will be held online to facilitate the respect towards our needs of protection or isolation in the actual pandemic context.
