Nanoparticle Dispersion Technology

High shear forces created by ultrasonic cavitation have the ability to break up particle agglomerates and result in smaller and more uniform particles sizes. The stable and homogenous suspensions produced by ultrasonics are widely used in many industries today.

Probe sonication is highly effective for processing nanomaterials (carbon nanotubes, graphene, inks, metal oxides, etc.) and Sonicators have become the industry standard for:

  • Dispersing
  • Deagglomerating
  • Particle size reduction
  • Particle synthesis and precipitation
  • Surface functionalization

Q700 – sonicate up to 1 liter, with a Flowcell up to 5 liters or more

Q700 is the most technologically advanced sonicator available today. A touch screen interface offers intuitive control and provides a user-friendly experience.

Improved internal circuitry guarantees more efficient operation, sample-to-sample consistency and reliable end result.

With a 25 mm tip you are able to sonicate volumes up to 1 liter.

Choose a Flocell – Low Volume Flocell for volumes above 1 liter or a High Volume Flocell for volumes above 5 liters.

Q2000 – for volumes 5 to 20 liters

 The Q2000 offers the ability to process large volumes in individual batches or flow through applications. This model includes a high amplitude (100µm), 1.5" diameter, 10" long probe and booster. The Q2000 is powerful, durable and customizable. The Q2000 with standard probe is recommended for 5-20L samples. Routine applications include emulsification, cell lysis, degassing, homogenization, solubilizing, deagglomerating and dispersing.
