A three-week
holiday closure this summer

First of all, we would like to wish all our customers, suppliers and partners a great summer. In Production, we will be closed from 16 July until 3 August; we will be back from Monday, 6 August.

Our Service Department will be open throughout the summer for acute issues and can be reached by phone at +46 322 668 930 or by using this contact form.


We have now finally settled in!

Starting 1 April, we moved one department after the other from the old facilities on Lärkvägen to our new ones on Bultgatan in Sävelund Industrial Park just outside the centre of Alingsås. By the 1:st of June, all departments had moved. Right now we are busy making minor adjustments to ensure everything will work like clockwork. All along, the customers have been in our focus.

New investment in
laser welding will boost efficiency

Steeltech has upgraded its six-axle laser robot from a 2 kilowatt laser unit to a 6 kilowatt unit, opening up a spectre of new possibilities. Thanks to the new laser unit, we can now offer not only welding of more materials buy also thicker materials.

A more distinct environmental focus

The market and our primary target group – industrial kitchens and the food industry – are increasingly requesting reduced consumption of resources, such as electricity, water, detergents, compressed air, etc. Going forward, this is an issue everyone at Steeltech will place greater emphasis on. Our ambition, among other things, is to acquire ISO 14000 certification, and at the moment we are implementing a series of measures in preparation for this.'
