Annual general meeting held.
20th Feb the AGM for SSLBC was held at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Stockholm.
First of all, SSLBC would like to thank H.E Ambassador Rajapaske and her wonderful staff for generously letting the council use their facilities the AGM.
A new board member was elected;
Ms Manel Rodrick from Yammo.
The AGM decided that fees for 2017 should be the following;
Every member shall pay an introduction membership fee of SEK 200.
In addition, there is an annual service fee.
2017 it is the following;
For private members 200 SEK
For companies with 1-99 employees 500 SEK
For companies with 100 and more employees 2000 SEK
Swedish Kommerskollegium/Open Trade Gate participated in workshop in Colombo about exporting food to Sweden. Both SSLBC and the Swedish Embassy New Dehli was invited to address the interested audience. Read more below. Link for speech
The council was also represented when IKEA visited Colombo. Export Developement Board hosted a workshop and B2B meetings with potential Sri Lankan exporters.
