We are very glad that in cooperation with Sri Lankan Embassy in Stockholm and Kommerskollegium/Open Trade Gate arrange a breakfast seminar 25th Nov in Stockholm.

Theme for the seminar in sustainability in the food processing sector in Sri Lanka and opportunities to find new business partners for Swedish companies. Link for invitation

The seminar will also be followed up by a small delegation to Sri Lanka in February 2017.

Later this year the direct flights to Sri Lanka will be back when TUI starts package tours again.

Nov 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka needs a significant transformation to become a higher middle income country as the island nation's Prime Minister has envisioned, the World Bank says.

The global lending agency said it has recognized that Sri Lanka needs to transform from an inward-oriented government driven economy, to an export-oriented private sector led one, the Country Director of World Bank in Sri Lanka Idah Z. Pswarayi-Riddihough said at the launch of the South Asia Flagship Report in Sri Lanka Monday.

The purpose of Sweden Sri Lanka Business Council (SSLBC) is to promote business, friendship, goodwill and understanding between Sweden and Sri Lanka through personal networks and contacts.
